Organically Grown in Oregon Week

September 8-14, 2025

Join us September 8–14, 2025 for Organically Grown in Oregon Week

Celebrate 37 years of organic roots and growth with a week of learning, fun, and recognition for the leaders, farmers, and values that launched the movement.

Oregonians played a foundational role in shaping the organic movement and certification standards in the United States. In 1972, Oregon became the first state to pass legislation defining and regulating organic farming, setting a precedent for other states and eventually influencing national standards.

Get Involved!

Help us grow the movement and rally your community by taking part in Organically Grown in Oregon Week. Whether you’re a business or an individual, there are plenty of ways to get involved!

Businesses can host events, offer tastings or demos, spotlight local organic growers, or run giveaways to engage customers and raise awareness. Community members and consumers can show their support by shopping organic, sharing their favorite local farms or products on social media, attending events, or even organizing a gathering or potluck featuring Oregon-grown organic ingredients.
